Barry M ‘Eat My Dust’ Swatch and Review

Hi Everyone,

Last year Barry M brought out a Speedy quick drying collection of polishes. The shades were mostly autumn and winter inspired until recently. Then finally a 2016 Spring pastel collection was debuted.

I managed to grab Eat My Dust at Boots the other day, so here it is.

The polish at first glance is almost white blue (is that even a real thing?!) So pale and light it may even be a nude shade on some skin tones.

The polish is a great consistency to work with so was easy to apply, however as with any quick drying formula you have to work fast. It does need 2 good coats for that perfect smooth nail. And unless your rushing it like I was, leave a few minutes between each coat.

Once it was all dried off I decided to add some silver stamped stars using my Rainbow Connection Creative Stamper set, Bundle Monster plate and OPI Push and Shove.

I’ve heard hundreds of people recommend the Rainbow Connection Stamper set so invested as I’m not that great with stamping. Then somehow I became reasonably good at it! I’m pretty sure its because this set is AMAZING! The stamper comes with 2 super squishy heads that you can swap in and out. I love it instantly!

Thinking I’ll review and show you that separately!

Then to finish of my nails I added some Born Pretty Store nail studs which I bought recently.

These studs are so damn hard to photograph well. They are almost multi coloured in certain angles and then plain white in direct sunlight. I just stuck them down using Glisten and Glow’s HK Girl Fast Drying topcoat. Although being a full time mum means I lost a stud pretty quickly!

So there it is.

My swatch and review of Barry M’s Eat My Dust.

Thanks for reading!

Kat x
